Compound movements like squats into shoulder press and side lunges with a row don't just sculpt muscles; they also fire up your deep core, including those sneaky transverse abdominals. Why does it matter?

Well, think of your core as your body's stabilizing superhero – it keeps you standing tall, protects your spine, and helps you move with grace. When we strengthen these muscles, we're not just building a better physique; we're investing in everyday resilience and injury prevention… and I AM HERE FOR THAT. If our goal truly is progress over perfection and building healthier and stronger bodies, than including exercise that both challenge our mobility and stability is necessary. We keep it low impact, so no jumping or crazy exercises that put undo pressure on the joints.

I’m different. I believe in cherishing and caring for our bodies AS is. You have a good body and it tells a beautiful story. I want to embrace that and encourage you in every facet and stage of your body to see your value and worth and the IMPORTANCE of caring for your body. Let’s grow into our healthiest versions of ourself! I also want to CHALLENGE you to not be afraid of hard work. Nothing good happens when we play small. As you workout with me, you will also be reminded of God’s goodness and love for and over YOU! I will not leave you high and dry, but will workout with you every single step of the way.

As a CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER, Sports Nutrition Coach, and a Revelation Wellness Instructor I put together a 6 week Progressive overload and compound movement strength training program. It is time to do things differently, and when you workout with me that is exactly what you get.

As a mom to 5 kids ages 3-9 I the feeling that comes from not recognizing myself in the mirror. I know and understand what it is like to wonder if I’ll ever be able to run again, do a sit up, or even remotely feel like myself physically.

I also believe in challenging ourselves in a manner that both honors the Lord, and encourage US! God can use our workouts to draw us closer to him and to encourage our hearts in what we know is right and good. I won’t let you quit on yourself.

Is it for beginners?

If you are new to lifting you will most definetly find success by embracing a slow and steady approach, focusing on controlled movements and paying attention to how their body responds. This means hitting pause on the videos when necessary, adjusting the amount you are lifting, and being willing to celebrate small wins. By prioritizing caution and care, you'll not only build strength but also cultivate a deeper understanding of your body's capabilities and limitations.

What are compound movements?

Compound lifting movements involve exercises that engage multiple muscle groups and joints simultaneously. These movements typically mimic real-life functional activities and involve more than one joint and muscle group working together.

How is this program different than Stronger U AND Stronger 2.0?

Well, quite frankly… it is more dynamic. Yes, there is progressive overload… but there are also full body days that include compound movements as well as deep core. Why? I want to challenge you to be engaged throughout the workouts and at all times be activating, protecting, and challenging your core.

Will the focus be Biblical?

100% yes. The focus of every single workout video is an emphasis on how much God loves you and a reminder that in Christ we live and move and have our being. It is in Christ that we have the ability to press through and we know that we can honor him as we move. There is not an emphasis on weight, or looks, but instead on thankfulness for the opportunity to move all the while challenging ourselves mentally, physically, and emotionally.

What equipment do I need?

Dumbbells. And an attitude willing to be challenged and learn from the process. I believe that you can get a good workout in at home and with minimal equipment, and this program makes is possible for you.

What is Progressive overload?

Progressive overload is the gradual increase in stress placed on the body during exercise, challenging it to adapt and grow stronger over time. What that means is that for 8 weeks, you repeat the same workout split over a series of weeks. 5 different workouts to be repeated each once a week over the period of 8 weeks.
